shepherding good ideas, tracking progress and keeping selected projects
moving toward completion.
Membership
Membership in Hagerman IDEA, Inc., an Idaho non-profit corporation, is
open to anyone who supports the organization's objectives as stated in
its articles of incorporation. For the first eight years of its
existence IDEA required a $400 one-time membership fee. This was
necessary to build operating funds. As of 2010 the membership fee has
been eliminated and replaced by a simple pledge to be familiar with and
support IDEA objectives, programs and projects Currently there a no

Hagerman IDEA has been appointed by the Mayor and City Council to
function as Hagerman's Gem Community Committee. IDEA will ensure
that the annual requirements necessary to maintain the community's
active status in the Gem Community Program are met each year.
Meetings
The next IDEA meeting will be at 6 P.M. on the second Monday of April at the Snake
River Grill Meeting Room located in Frog's Landing, at the corner
State Street (US Highway 30) and Hagerman Avenue. All meetings are open
to the public and citizens are encouraged to participate in the
Gem Community portion of the meetings.
Fund-Raising
"Blues in the Park" is the annual music festival project we put on for
our community. The second weekend in September is typically the date for
the event. We are currently working on our eighth annual
Blues in the Park. This is our most visible project and it provides us
with the opportunity to publicly recognize our sponsor's as part of our
event promotion. We include sponsor's names on our
Blues Poster and in the event program. In addition we list our sponsors on
our web page and provide hyperlinks to a sponsor's website
if they wish. Check out the Blues page for more information. Blues in
the Park is only one of our community improvement projects. Please take
a look at our projects page to learn more about our efforts.
